 This
is a full CD design package including 5-color booklet cover and tray card, grayscale interior booklet pages and a 2-color CD face. The color texture
comes from a photograph I took of an orange-brown adobe house in
New Mexico. The knotwork is from my own pen sketch which I scanned
and traced. This knot wraps around the completed cover and through
the sides of the CD packaging to create a subtle bracketing effect
on the back of the tray insert. The same knotwork is used on the
grayscale interior of the 16-page stapled booklet with a different enlarged
section of the knotwork appearing on each page, faded out behind
solid text. The CD face layers text imported from a scan of a old
document related to Celtic song traditions. |
