This site represented the University side of the UW Department of Radiology for 5 years until the Department chose to convert to the new School of Medicine and Public Health templates in 2010. The original Department website was a loose collection of roughly 10,000 files, many of which were orphans. The Department hoped to have a new face visible on the web very shortly after my start date, just in time for the annual international radiology conference. They approved my early designs and I had the essential parts of the site up and running in time for the conference. The navigation tabs use CSS styling of lists allowing for better accessibility and easy updating, and much of the content now loads dynamically. I designed the necessary images using Photoshop and Illustrator and designed the site itself in Macromedia (now Adobe) Dreamweaver.
