If you passed the
homepage on your way here, you already know that we recently released
our second recording, "Mairneas." We are delighted with the
response that it has already received and are optimistic about our future
projects and plans.
Our performances
during August and September are looking like they will be a lot of fun.
We hope to see everyone there!

2003
Happy post-Holidays
to you all! We are busily preparing to release our newest CD, titled
"Mairneas" (mar-nyus),
which means "Voyage" in Manx Gaelic. It has been a long time
coming and we've been working hard on getting
everything just right. Be sure to keep watching this site for news of
its release and any release parties we might throw.
In other news, we've had a great year! We've travelled far and wide
and loved all of it. In June, we sang for the wedding of one of our
own as Joan tied the knot. She and her husband, Dave, have moved to
the Milwaukee area where Dave is attending graduate school in Urban
Planning. This past semester, he was one of Mayor Norquist's teaching
assistants. But he swears he didn't grow his beard just because the
mayor was growing one too.
Elizabeth has been in Germany and Ireland for much of the year pursuing
love (Rolf), music, and working on her master's thesis. Luckily, as
finances allow and her heart dictates she's had return trips to continue
with Navan. She also had the pleasure of going back to the Frankie Kennedy
Winter School in Donegal where there was noticably more singing than
last year, including a lovely workshop with Mary Smith from the Isle
of Lewis.
Paul was called to active duty with the National Guard following 9/11,
and concluded his tour as a documentary photographer in October.
Sheila continues
to work her dream job at Wisconsin Public Radio.
Best wishes to everyone in the new year!
